Pull-Down Storage for Kitchen Wall Cabinets

This pull-down elevator basket brings upper-cabinet storage down towards the user. The pictured assembly has two storage levels, plate supports, side lift mechanisms and a front handle. It is a wall-cabinet fitting, rather than a drawer that slides out from a base cabinet.

For cabinet manufacturers, importers and hardware distributors, the first step is to match the lift assembly to the cabinet drawing. A nominal cabinet width alone does not confirm that the mechanism will fit or that loaded dishes will clear the door and worktop.

Check the Installation and Lowering Space

The parameter table lists cabinet-width options of 600, 700, 800 and 900 mm. Ask for the installation drawing for the selected version before drilling or ordering cabinets.

• Provide clear internal width, depth and height, together with cabinet panel thickness.
• Mark hinges, door frames and any other obstructions inside the opening.
• Check the lowered position and movement path against the worktop, taps and nearby appliances.
• Confirm bracket positions, fixing requirements and access to the operating handle.
• Request the permitted load and any adjustment instructions for the complete lift assembly.

Confirm the Supplied Configuration

Review the basket layout, plate-support spacing and side accessory holder against your intended kitchenware. Confirm the included trays, holders, brackets and fixings in the component list. Select the material and finish for each component with the supplier; the material options in the parameter table do not mean that every part uses the same material.

Use a sample in the intended cabinet to check lowering, return movement, loaded clearance and access for cleaning. Any soft-close or load-capacity requirement should be agreed against the mechanism specification and sample.
