ODM Kitchen Storage & Cabinet Organizer Solutions

ODM kitchen organizer projects start with a product idea, buyer need or manufacturer-developed design rather than a complete buyer-owned drawing. Organizer Basket works with businesses that need design and engineering input before selecting a product for their range.

Discuss your ODM product brief

ODM Kitchen Storage: Select the Product Family

Keep the brief focused on the organizer inside the cabinet, including storage access and mounting constraints. Browse base cabinet organizers, wall cabinet and pull-down organizers, and Lazy Susan baskets to explain the design direction you want reviewed.

Choose a Design Direction

Describe the storage problem you want to solve: the cabinet position, items to store, available space and how the user should access them. You can reference an existing product as a starting point and explain what you want to retain or change.

An importer expanding a cabinet hardware range may start with a product family and target cabinet layout. A brand developing an organizer concept may start with a usage scenario. In both cases, a clear brief helps separate design work from branding and packaging work.

What to Include in Your ODM Brief

  • Target buyer and intended sales market.
  • Product category, reference models or sketches.
  • Cabinet dimensions, installation constraints and intended use.
  • Desired features, material and finish preferences.
  • Planned quantity, packaging brief and destination.
  • Which decisions are already fixed and where you want design input.

Review the Design Before Committing to Production

  1. Discuss requirements: define the intended function and installation.
  2. Review design options: compare the proposed configuration with the brief.
  3. Evaluate a prototype or sample: check fit, movement, access and appearance.
  4. Agree the final version: record approved specifications, branding and packaging before bulk manufacturing.

Discuss the scope of design changes and sample arrangements at the quotation stage. A design reference is a starting point, not confirmation that every requested feature is available in that model.

Confirm Design Rights and Project Scope

If ownership, exclusivity or restrictions on selling a design matter to your business, raise them before development. Confirm any agreement in writing; an ODM enquiry by itself does not establish exclusive rights.

Which Service Fits Your Project?

Already have a complete drawing or sample for manufacturing? Use OEM manufacturing. Selected a model and need your brand on the product or box? Use private label. Need a specific size, finish or mechanism change reviewed? See product customization.

ODM Project Questions

Do I need a finished technical drawing?

No finished drawing is needed to begin the discussion. Provide your usage requirements, references and cabinet constraints so the development scope can be assessed.

How are timing and quantity agreed?

Ask for sample, development and production arrangements for the proposed design. They depend on the project scope and should be included in the quotation discussion.
